    So I made a choice scene where the reader can choose the characters clothes in episode 9 now in episode 10 that I'm writing there's a flashback scene when I reset the scene , my character isn't in the clothes that she wore before. IS THERE A FIX TO THIS PROBLEM?

      The character won't automatically change into her previous cloths if you simply copy the scene. You need to add flags in that scene so you can use it in episode 10 in that "flashback".

        In episode 9 where the reader made the outfit choice, you would use gains. So, it would look like this:

        label dressinggame
        CHARACTER (think)
        (What should I wear?)

        choice
        "Casual"{
        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop
        @CHARACTER changes into casual
        gain casual
        }
        "Cute"{
        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop
        @CHARACTER changes into cute
        gain cute
        }
        "Fancy{
        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop
        @CHARACTER changes into fancy
        gain fancy
        }
        CHARACTER (think)
        (Should I wear this?)
        choice
        "Yes"{
        CHARACTER (talk_happy_smile)
        Yes, I like this.
        "No"{
        CHARACTER (talk_arms_crossed)
        Let's try something else.
        goto dressinggame
        }

        Then, in episode 10, it would look like this.

        if (casual) {
        @CHARACTER changes into casual
        }

        if (cute) {
        @CHARACTER changes into cute
        }

        if (fancy) {
        @CHARACTER changes into fancy
        }

          That wouldn't work. If you put those gains inside every option, when you get the condition (if/ elif/ else) it just won't get the readers the option they those, it would pick randomly, and won't actually work.

        Well, I'll show you an example:

        (BACKGROUND'S NAME)

        @CHARACTER enters from right to screen center

        label outfit_choice

        CHARACTER (think)
        (What should I wear today?

        choice "option 1" {

        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop

        @CHARACTER changes into option1

        CHARACTER (talk_excited)
        I love this look!

        choice "Wear this!" {

        CHARACTER (talk_exclaim_yes)
        This is perfect!

        gain option1

        } "No... Try something else." {

        goto outfit_choice

        }} "option 2" {

        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop

        @CHARACTER changes into option2

        CHARACTER (talk_excited)
        I love this look!

        choice "Wear this!" {

        CHARACTER (talk_exclaim_yes)
        This is perfect!

        gain option2

        } "No... Try something else." {

        goto outfit_choice

        }} "option 3" {

        @CHARACTER is dustoff_loop

        @CHARACTER changes into option3

        CHARACTER (talk_excited)
        I love this look!

        choice "Wear this!" {

        CHARACTER (talk_exclaim_yes)
        This is perfect!

        gain option3

        } "No... Try something else." {

        goto outfit_choice

        }}

        later you can use it as a condition:

        if (option1) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } elif (option2) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } else {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        }

        You can use as ,any options in the condition as you want. Just get the options in "elif"

        something like this:

        if (flag1) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } elif (flag2) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } elif (flag3) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } elif (flag4) {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        } else {

        #Get in here whatever you want to be in that scene that has something to do with this.

        }

        and so on...

        I HOPE THIS HELPS!
