  • Dialogue is Attributed to the Wrong Character

    For some reason, the app shows the dialogue as coming from the wrong character even though the script is correct. It does this in both the preview on my laptop and in the app.

    The first guy is Inspector Javert and the second is Jean Valjean.

    If you're talking about the speechbubble coming from the wrong person, that is easily fixed!

    Before the person speaks, code it like this

    @speechbubble is 150 150 to 100% with tail_top_right

    YOUNG VALJEAN
    Blah blah blah...

    @speechbubble is 150 150 to 100% with tail_top_left

    YOUNG JAVERT
    Blah blah blah

    Just make the tail point to whichever direction your character is.
    (you will have to change the position numbers, since those are just random, but that can be done in the web previewer.)

      What is the character name for each, it helps to know. Is Young Javert the same as Inspector Javert? If so, then it is only a case of incorrect tail direction which as catsharp53 explained can be easily corrected with speechbubble commands. I used those all the time because I want the bubble coming from the character, right direction, and not too big (I typically size to 74%).
