She spends most of her day cooking, cleaning, helping me with high school, finding tutors, helping my brother, etc. She always pushes me to be better. She never sugarcoats things to me or my brother. She rarely ever says “good job” or praises people, so when she does, you know it’s real.

Hey Happy Bday!!
If you want me to be honest, my mother and I are insanely toxic. The reason for this is because I’m literally a miniature version of her. This makes it hard for us to communicate because we are both stubborn. I love her still because even though she never showed it, I recently witnessed her trying to look into acting gigs for me because I had to quit acting since it costs too much money for lessons. Meaning that she doesn’t have to show her love to me. Every parent is different which makes me realize that my mom really does care for me.

So overall, a reason to love your mom is that even the small things can make a big difference. You just don’t see it in another perspective. Regardless what happens, a mothers love will never disappear even when they never show it.
