oh, also, a note, if I donβt reply to you all today thatβs probably because Iβm asleep because itβs night for me and I have school tomorrow so sorry if I donβt get through you all yAYeET
sure ^^
so what you do is you go to the art catalog, choose two images to click on and save them on your computer. Then you go into some sort of picture editor (picmonkey or something) and load one of the pictures, crop it about halfway, then save it, now go onto the editor again and load the other picture you didnβt crop. Then, as an overlay, add the cropped picture and put it over half of the image, resize it etc. To be honest, if you wanted to, you could also just not crop any of the images and just skip to this step. Next, if you are using picmonkey, you will need to pay to save it, so to avoid this problem, use snipping tool and drag across the area where the image is (if you have a mac use some sort screen shot tool then crop it to just the image collage youβve made), then go into paint, click resize, uncheck βmaintain aspect ratioβ , click the pixels circle and resize it to 1920 x 1136. (Again if youβve got a mac, go into a different editor and upload the snip youβve made and resize it to the same thing.)
For both, windows and mac, save it, obviously. Then go back to the art catalog and click the drop menu where it says βBackgrounds: Available for ALL storiesβ click the second option, then upload your image. Kay, now this is a little custom, you can either choose 2 panels, or 3. Donβt do one because most of the time it will barely show anything of your collage.
After youβve made your decision, choose a background name. The name you choose will be used as a command in coding if that makes sense?? You have to make sure you oblige to this rule Episode has stated. "Here, you can choose a name for your background so you can use it in your scripts. Please enter a name starting βINT.β or βEXT.β (such as INT. BEDROOM - DAY)."
and thatβs it!
Hope you have a lovely day and that I could help you ^^
Oh! I forgot to say you add the scene into the story with the name you saved it as and add the characters in a default placement area. Like screen left, right, center. If you want it to be custom AKA spot directed, lemme know and I can help you with that.
I remember doing it, I may be wrong but⦠you know the titles you use for the choices:
(No space for the >)
<PREMIUM. > βI donβt like the relationship.β{
Basically, you can use the episode previewer thingy or your phone and then go onto your story.
Right, see where it says βDirecting Helperβ? click that.
Then click where it says βSpot Helperβ.
As you see, you can drag about your character now.
But what about resizing? I hear you ask.
Well, see where it says βSwitch Tool: Scale:β? Click that and you will see it has changed to βSwitch Tool: Moveβ
Drag upwards to make your character smaller, drag downwards to make your character bigger.
Kay, to actually code this into your script, you do as follows.
If youβre using your desktop, you will see something like this:
click copy and then just paste it into your script. (CTRL+V)
for mobile phone, you will have to look for text that basically says:
@CHARACTER spot NUMBERS BLAH BLAH
and then you just type that into your script.
and voila!
Oh also, to change to the other character, just click βChange Charβ and lines will appear around the chosen character. Then just repeat the process you done for the first character.
