i saw many stories do this, like in the story dead 7. It was start off something like yawn bored but then in the middle of doing the action it would cut to a new action like handsonhips ? Can someone please tell me how to write that into my story? ( my story is in limelight by the way, i don’t know if that matters or not)

Use & then a pause for less than a second

&CHARACTER is animation
@pause for 0.5
@CHARACTER is animation

Or use starts and a pause for less than a second

@CHARACTER starts animation
@pause for 0.5
@CHARACTER is animation

You can change the pause time to whatever you want.
