3 people in a car

You will need appropriate seating overlays to separate them, if you don’t have the overlays – it will be difficult and possibly not turn out how you’re expecting.

INT. BACKGROUND NAME with OVERLAY to s x y in zone 1 at layer 1
&zoom reset
@cut to zone 1 AND CHAR1 spot s x y in zone 1 AND CHAR1 moves to layer 2 AND CHAR1 faces left AND CHAR2 spot s x y in zone 1 AND CHAR2 faces right AND CHAR2 moves to layer 2 AND CHAR3 spot s x y in zone 1 AND CHAR3 faces right AND CHAR3 moves to layer 0
#char3 at the back in layer 0, overlays at layer 1 and char1 (front, left) + char2 (front, right) in the front seats at layer 2

You can use that code if you wish to, but you need to substitute the background name with your background name, the overlay name with your overlay name and “CHAR1/2/3” with your characters’ names. Also remember to substitute in your spotting for both the overlay and the characters. (:
