Hm, what would be a good hiding spot for a house raid/home invasion? I need some ideas since I’m going to include a raid in my story. This is a fantasy story.

Maybe a closet or bathroom

Some places I would try to hide under a bed , closet , bathroom , maybe a small pantry or small closet .

I’ve hid in a laundry basket before during a very intense hide and seek game with around 10 other people. I basically took out the dirty laundry, hopped in and placed all the dirty laundry on top of my head 
Someone had opened it but didn’t seem to have noticed I was under that pile of dirty laundry, I was hiding in there for maybe 15 mins since everyone else had been found by that point so I went out on my own. I’d call that a decent hiding spot?

How about an attic or a basement? Those are usually the last places a home invader would check. The first places they’d check would probably be under the bed and in closets, tbh.
