A romance story isn’t a romance story without the MC getting into a car crash at like episode 70, then going into a coma or losing all her memories, bonus points if both, (this is when the MC and LI are FINALLY together) and the last 10 episodes happen to be the LI trying to get the MC to fall in love with the LI again, just so the author can reach the 80 episode mark.

a romance story isn’t a romance story without - Character 1 and Character 2 being in the relationship and Character 2 has a “secret” or “dark past” and Character 1 finds out about it and then ends their 6 week relationship and then they bump into each other 5 years and 11 months later at a wedding and Character 1 has a change of heart and forgives Character 2 and then they become friends again.
Character 2 finds out that Character 1 has a son who is 5 years and 2 months old and looks suspiciously like them, Character 2 connects the dots and realizes that they have a son and Character 1 has been hiding they’re son from them.
