About bad grammar

Yes.
If I have to read a sentence over and over again, it’s going to detract from the story (and I’m truthfully probably not going to enjoy it much anyway).
Minor errors won’t bother me. If I know an author’s first language isn’t English, I’ll try and be more lenient, but really bad grammar gives me a headache and ruins the flow of a story (for me).

I hate to be this person but like I can’t help it…if a story has bad grammar I really struggle getting through it :grimacing:

Honestly I think that everyone should have a chance to write a story even if he/she isn’t good at English grammar. I probably made mistakes in this reply too sooo.

Being a teacher, I just wanna be like, “Why didnt u pay attention in English class!?”
:joy:
Not including people who don’t speak English as their first language…

Yes, I would stop. I just can’t read a story that has bad grammar, it bothers me way too much.

I think it depends. Because some of my favourite stories don’t have perfect grammer and honestly I don’t either :joy:.
I think if its readable and you can understand what’s going on that’s okay.

It bothers me.

I cannot with bad grammar.

I just won’t read the story.

I feel badly because people work hard on the story, if the story is amazing and there is the occasional slip-up, that’s ok but I want good grammar…

Don’t yell at me!
