Adding pronouns

Hey guys so I’m all about figuring things out on episode especially mini games and short cuts etc.

I’ve been toying with the idea of how the reader could possibly have their own pronouns in a story. I will eventually get round to writing my story  eventually…

Im assuming this would work the same way you have typed in choices however you would need to use 3 different ones in order for it to work like

He/she

input which one do you best identify with he/she? | which one do you best identify with| Done (He/she)

input which one do you best identify with Him/her? | which one do you best identify with| Done (Him/her)

input which one do you best identify with his/hers? | which one do you best identify with| Done (His/hers)

Then when typing you would write like this

Character name (action)
Yes, I can see Him/her from here and it looks like He/She has brought a friend too.

If you wanted to add they/them you could the same way but it would most likely require more dialogue. and a if choice because when we say they/them we would need to change how the sentence is formed.

using the same sentence as above you would need to change has for have. As we don’t say they has we say they have.

But I think this is how it would work not sure  like I say it does require more work but it could potentially be something for you to try if you really wanted to add pronouns.

I can’t see where a typed in choice would make sense – for names it works great, but the dialogue would need its own branch for each set so that the sentences make sense, imo.

^^^this would most likely happen if it were a typed in choice lol.
