Sooo me and this guy have a āuniqueā thing going on. So my friend actually met him over Omegle (yikesss) and well they talked and they got each other snaps and then she sent a picture of me and her and he wanted to talk to me, keep in mind that my friend didnāt have any interest in him so it wasnāt a bad thing. Then me and him started talkingā¦a lot. And we have always been good friends and would help each other with the relationships and crushes we had and all that. But recently, me and him have both gained sum feelings for each other. But heres the problem, we live in different countries. And I canāt meet him because we both are a bit underage to be traveling by ourselves and we both have strict parents. So idkkkkk its just rlly hard, anyone got sum advice or experience in this kind of situation?
Can you see this being something longterm?
Yeah I think so, weāve talked about it.
Where do you see it going?
Well Iām hoping we can meet in the future and become more serious.
I donāt reccomend it. Your parents will most likely catch you. And your still young, so not the best idea. Online dating isnāt worth it
Yeah thats why Iām waiting to see if we do meet and if the feelings are still there
OOOOOOOOH Story Timeā¦
Sooo I met a guy on Bumble (welp) and we lived in different cities. He was really nice and caring (by the text messages at least) so we scheduled a 2-day date (ya weird I know) . I went to North Carolina and I met him and his family, Anyways he turned out to be a nice guy and eventually I also moved to North Carolina and weāre still dating, but I do feel that our relationship is getting more serious.
In short I advise you to do it . I mean even if you donāt find the love of your life youāre still gonna get a friend.

Okay sorry I straight up was in the middle of a phone call and couldnāt type. It just ended. So basically, I think you should consider the relationship it could cause with your parents. If it could jeopardize your relationship with them, I would definitely take that into consideration. I would also recommend you consider that hopefully quarantine will be ending soon, meaning a return to school for both of you. This could make it very difficult for you both since there will be so many people that you could potentially become interested in and will also require a lot of trust that the other one doesnāt cheat.
That said, if your feelings are strong enough, you should absolutely go for it.
@Helloeveryone Iām from NC!!!
Ohhhh dang!!
Thats so cute and im glad it worked outttt
Thanks for the advice! And we are both actually still going to in person school:)
@lostintranslation Really??? I havenāt met a lot of people from NC! Do you live there?
And @Cassidyy1 Thanks so much, and about the parent problemā¦well yeah my parents were quite supportive, but they were like this is your own life if you think so, go for it!
I love your parents lolllll
Lol
I think you two should just continue to be friends until you both are old enough to see each other in person. Thatāll also give the both of you time to figure out your feelings for each other.
I would never recommend long distance/ online dating BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN ITS NOT POSSIBLE
