About labelling based on gender, small traces of ancestry, etc:

Humans kinda like to label things. We looked out at the majesty of nature and thought: “Well, better start naming all of these things.” :joy: I think there’s kind of an inner mentality of “If it has a name, that must mean we understand it and it makes sense.” So people would have a tendency to label themselves in order to convince themselves that it all makes sense, for example the reason that they act certain ways and like/dislike certain things, to understand the way they may not really like their gender assigned at birth, nor the opposite one.

Idk whether it actually helps. Idc what anyone labels themselves as long as I’m not expected to remember a pronoun more complicated than “they” lmao. :joy:
