Agree Or Disagree? Huh?

I agree with her. Women should be able to wear as much or as little as they want and not be sexualised.

I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a feminist. However, I agree, I don’t understand why breast is considered sexual, but not male nipples. With that, I was a huge supporter of the free the nipple movement. And, I’m still is. Yeah, it’s rather risky if women walk around with their breast out, but let’s not forget sexual assault happens to people while they are fully clothed as well.

Yeah, I don’t find anything disturbing or uncomfortable about someone (female) walking around topless. Men do it. So, why the hell not?

Yeah but it’s not like that it depends on the mind frame of the person.

True, you can’t control what a person thinks, but women’s bodies shouldn’t be sexualised unless they chose to want them to be

That’s not how that goes… No gender can choose that.

Of course, people are going to sexualize someone’s body, but it is a choice, in a sense. If someone decided that they wanted to wear a certain outfit for the sole purpose of being sexualized, then that is a choice. If they decided that they want to cover up every inch of their skin because they don’t want to be sexualized, then that is a choice.

To remain on topic, the breast isn’t inherently sexual. Of course, in certain situations, they can be. However, the breast is no different than a man’s chest.

Yes, they can. If you want to flaunt your stuff and be viewed in a sexual way, go for it, power to you. But if you don’t want to be sexualised by others, it’s your choice too.

Breasts are different as they are less socially acceptable. (Among things like being able to make milk, and the extra fat, being fat more sexualized than a mans chest)

Maybe I was raised differently (not that that is bad) but feminist or not I would never ever want to see topless women. Personally I don’t even want to see topless men, to me those are your “private parts” and you shouldn’t be walking around a beach without a top.

I would be insecure and worried, I personally judge how I look more than my family, and even if we are blood related if my mom comes in when I’m showering or something I instinctively cover up.

So no I will never support this, and if this happens I won’t go out topless.

Also why would you want this?
Besides being and having “equal” rights, why would you want this?

For me, the simple answer would have to be equal rights. If men can do this than women should be able to do it. Why does breast have to be associated with being sexual, and the male nipple/areola isn’t? Last time I checked men has breast tissue, an areola, and a nipple. The same thing that a woman has. So, what is the difference aside from the little fat that some not all breast has?

One is more socially acceptable.

You would have to get a lot of women (or men) to support it and I don’t see that happening :upside_down_face:

I will never support this as I think the world has gotten way too complicated.
Maybe instead of focusing on American women who have so many rights already we focus on more important problems, such as world hunger, global warming, fighting for rights of less heard voices, and the high suicide rates we have, instead of focusing on which breasts are allowed and which aren’t

** GENDER DOESN’T F*KING MATTER**
I agree with her in the sense that it should be okay and just because you have your shirt off doesn’t automatically mean you will be or should be assaulted by a man or a women for that matter. It would also help people control their sexual urges. I personally would like to have at least one topless beach in America. Kids wouldn’t be able to go it would be for 18 and up. This in my opinion solves all of the concerns I have seen so far. I mean yes you should be careful if you don’t have a shirt on but it would most likely be okay. If something vulger were to happen defend yourself or report it after or in my personal opinion kick some a**.

Hmm, that’s your opinion. There’s a lot of people who support this, for instance, “Free the nipple movement.” And, while I agree with the bottom half that you said, women’s rights matter as well.

Personally I find that completely ridiculous, and I never said they didn’t

I know I won’t be able to change your mind :upside_down_face:

I agree with you

There are nudist beaches you can go to.
But everyone considers how the statement sounds, that person who was spoken to decides if that warrants a report?
It will be a complete sh!show but that’s my opinion

Never said you did, but you made it out to be that women’s rights aren’t as important and, no, you won’t.

Yes I believe that world hunger and the problems mentioned above matter more than American women’s rights, as we actually have a lot and that we can go back after dealing with the more pressing matters :upside_down_face:

And that’s on period^
Because we have enough rights let’s not get greedy and worry about women and other things going on in different countries

I, personally, think like you. I don’t like to see people’s chest (either woman or man). I want the rights for girls who want to do it, but I would never go out shirtless
