I don’t know if I am the only one, but don’t ya hate when an art scene comes up in a story and its long asf. I like when art scenes come up but then it takes a good 20 minutes before they get back to the story. I understand its part of the story and you want to add your narration and everything to get into the details, but ya authors be overdoing it, making me lose interest and not reading it any more.
I know art scenes play an important part in the stories as you try to give the readers some visual representation of how the moment looks between the characters, but why make it last so long. The narration be silly, like “I felt his lips watching mines” and then a very long pause zooming in the lips for like 10 seconds. That is honestly unnecessary. I’m not trying to bash the authors but can ya please make it shorter and necessary.
P.S. I don’t want to hear “then read another story” because guess what, its all like that🤷🏾♀️.
wow, that’s really long If I had to sit through 20 mins of an art scene, I would probably exit the episode I would recommend to message the author and suggest for them to cut down on the art scene, because it takes up too much time. 20 minutes is waaaay too long. OR you can even recommend for them to make the scene optional, something like view the full art scene or view a shortened version of it.
Omg! Yeah, when they just keep zooming round the art scene that we’ve all ready seen. “Her flowing hair glistened in the morning sunshine.” Yeah, I CAN SEE THAT. I hate when an author commissions tons of big art scenes then we spend ages with them panning round the scene describing what’s going on. If ur gonna choose to show & not tell, u don’t need to also tell us what’s going on. I especially hate this when the art scene is rlly bad quality (n u can see the pixels) or if it’s a really gross art piece done by someone v unexperienced
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly don’t really like art scenes at all. I’d rather it just stick to the story, without all of that extra stuff. Ofc I won’t not read a story if they have art scenes, but personally I’m not a huge fan of them.
