Am curious, quick question

When coding your story when you preview it on the wed preview its perfet and when you preview it on your mobile it’s a complete mess, the directing isn’t as how it is on your computer…
Why is that??

what do you mean? What appears different?

For me, apart from the text effects everything else seems okay. But I should add, the web previewer lags a bit and appears glitchy.

Glitches, and also because the portal doesn’t remember things like the app does.

This happens to me too (I only test on the app). Sadly, both do yield different results. Before I couldn’t test on the web previewer because my computer was old and had freezing issues but now I choose not to. Word of advice: follow what it shows you on mobile and when it comes to overlays, and using the create command, add “in 0” to the shifts, opacity, scales command so they don’t pop up. Also if you re-test your story on mobile, the previous playthrough(s) may interfere so remember to reset story progress when playing again.

Sometimes when you preview it from your phone it remembers the zooms, filters outfits etc. I f that’s the case you just need to put all the reset codes at the start of the episode

Whenever i scale a character to my perfection on the wed previewer whenever i preview it on my phone it shows that they are still a little too big same way sigh

Wow omg this is a nightmare

So how do i get it to perfection ??

Sounds like it! :see_no_evil:

I can’t relate though because I only use the app previewer, not the portal one. The app previewer is also more reliable when it comes to what the readers will see, but my portal previewer has given up on me every time I’ve ever tried to open it (not that I mind, since I don’t even use it). :flushed:

So when ever i code on my laptop i shouldn’t preview it on the wed previewer i should preview it on my phone on the app ??

That’s what your saying right ???

Can i fix a problem on my phone when i test it ??

I’d recommend following Jem’s suggestion: re-coding that scene using your app previewer instead of the portal previewer and see if it comes out better when you save it and re-test it on the app.
I hope that works for you. :woman_shrugging:t3:

All of these look good on the wed previewer than a mess on the app sigh

And there are also sound some of the sounds i select are not playing on the app either
So sound and spot directing is my problem

Did you layer the characters in the script?
Sometimes the app needs to be refreshed for sounds and music to play, unless you have the volume set to 0 in the script (which I doubt), then the only other thing I could suggest would be to send a support ticket. :woman_shrugging:t3:

Okay amma try the layer thing and turn up the volume in the script

Yea, the sounds are working fine when previewing it on the portal but not when on the app.
What I usually do to have every sounds to work on the app is to reset it everytime I use a sound.

sound _____
.
.
sound off
@pause for 0
.
.
sound _____

This works for me.
