You shouldn’t be thinking too hard on yourself. I can tell that you are trying to make this to complete perfection but nobody’s perfect. You are wonderful to even consider about writing a story which is the best gift of all. So go out there and be you!:grin::revolving_hearts:

Thanks for the support. :relaxed: I’m glad I made it clear how much I care about this. I suppose it’s a little silly though. Still it’ll probably be good practice for writing a novel. I’ve kinda had writers block for a while and need a refresher.

I’m a perfectionist to the point where if I don’t feel it’s “perfect” I won’t finish the project. I’m going to finish this one though. Learning coding is kind of refreshing although it is pretty nitpicky. I’m working on a story I’m calling “Without A Word” and I’m only on the first chapter.

Aww, don’t be nervous :sweat_smile: I’ve seen that lots of readers enjoy story updates often, as well as being involved in the community like on Instagram. (I’m not really sure how to do Instagram since I’m pretty bad at using social media :sweat_smile:)

  • Can I have someone look over my story before I publish it?
    Yes, you will have to find a proofreader and send them the share link.

  • This seems like a fun and creative forum so I’m excited, but also anxious. I want to be successful, so how can I become successful?
    If you want to be successful on the app you have to publish new episodes at least monthly, even if your story is something most Episode users don’t read, people read stories with multiple episodes.

  • I also worry about my stories having a rough time since I would like to have a focus on rougher subjects. I have read the content guidelines so I do know what NOT to show, however I still worry that it may end up getting taken down.

  • Is anyone interested in stories with a gay main character?
    I’m sure most people would read it, a lot of people are focused on the plot

  • Is anyone interested in stories about growth, self discovery, and overcoming your personal hardships?
    Yeah, could be refreshing and fun

Thank you for the feedback. I honestly tend to read stories that are already completed, cause I binge read. I have social media like Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, they make me nervous and really weigh on my mind so I like to steer clear. I’ve had Facebook for years and have never posted a thing. Good to know there are people that aren’t so social media savvy.

I’ve been working on this for maybe two weeks? I’ve taken a lot of breaks. Plus figuring things out makes progress slow. My first chapter is currently 1,469 lines of code. I have no idea how long it takes me, it really depends if I have a new scene I guess.

There are some ridiculous stories breaking so many rules and they are just horrible. I’m pretty sure your story is gonna be fine :heart:
