Obscura

Genre: Adventure infused with everything else

Description: An aspiring filmmaker struggling to make his dreams come true, has one appear right in front of him when his favorite silent film star materializes in his guest room. Selim, along with his smart (in all senses of the word) little sister, and a classmate who he just can’t stand, must save her, uncover the secrets of a mysterious camera, and maybe make a submission for a movie competition while they’re at it. This international summer trip for answers is full of soul-searching, secret organizations, and pretzels–-lots of pretzels.

Murder at Ambrogi Mansion (LL) has reached 7000 reads. I feel so blessed and am so grateful to you all for giving my little story a little chance. I’m doing my best to make my stories more engaging, exciting, and meaningful and this is so encouraging. Murder at Ambrogi Mansion will be completed soon, so stay tuned. I will do something to celebrate this, but I’m working on so much, including Obscura and …some other things. In addition, I have lots of outside projects and endeavors. However, I will do something haha.

That said, I will be around here less frequently. I’ll only post on my threads. If you need anything, PM me, but I’m also closing my commissions for now. They were always open, but it seems rather useless now, plus I just don’t feel like it anymore. I’ve lost the taste for a lot of things here. The free drive willstill exist, but I won’t update as much probably. I’m not sure. Ko-fi is unaffected.

I’m just going to work on my stories for now and hopefully you all will enjoy them. I’ll update you all if things change. I do have things I want to do for you all, that is, for writers on episode, but right now, I’ll just step back some from this side of things. And it’s got nothing to do with “we understand, mental health comes first” or whatever, so please don’t give me that. I hate that. Has nothing to do with needing a break or burnout. I love writing. And typically being around the forums was a big part of what I do, but things have changed here and yeah I’ve been through a lot of the ups and downs on episode, but now it’s different.

My absence thus far hasn’t been because of this, I’m working on a manga project, but as of now, this is why you’ll see much less of me. I’m sure you’re mortified lol.

I just don’t feel like being around here much anymore.

But don’t worry, I I’ll continue and finish all of my stories so long as I have breath and the app remains as I understand it, that means on episode. Though I will have my stories in other formats (this is nothing new, I’ve had this is in mind for years).

More importantly, I promised I’d finish and I have lots of ideas, but for now, you’ll see much less of me. Ultimately, it’s not a big deal, I’m just one person and what’s it matter? Just note if you get less likes on anything it’s probably because of this, I like everything here :D. I was always browsing, but I will step back for now.

This won’t affect my stories. I just want to share if only because I plan to get my stories to more people. I will make some memorable stories that will take you all by storm… But I do want you to see that no matter the number of reads, you will get discouraged as a writer and artist. And here’s my testimony to that. Nothing more, nothing less.
