Hey
I’m afraid I need your help again.
How can a character do an animation right after entering a scene?
Currently I have this:
@LUCIE walks to spot 0.938 91 209 in 1 AND LUCIE is walk_exhausted_loop AND LUCIE faces right
&LUCIE is idle_exhausted_loop
- However, Lucie stops normally for a few seconds after entering and then enters the exhausted loop. How do I get it Lucie to go into the loop right after she enters?
Thank u for your help!

hey sweety !!
@LUCIE walks to spot 0.938 91 209 in 1 AND LUCIE is walk_exhausted_loop AND LUCIE faces right
THEN LUCIE is idle_exhausted_loop
or
@LUCIE walks to spot 0.938 91 209 in 1 AND LUCIE is walk_exhausted_loop AND LUCIE faces right
@LUCIE is idle_exhausted_loop
you could direct in how much time you want her to enter like
@LUCIE walks to spot 0.938 91 209 in 1 in 3 AND LUCIE is walk_exhausted_loop AND LUCIE faces right
@LUCIE is idle_exhausted_loop
or
@LUCIE walks to spot 0.938 91 209 in 1 in 3 AND LUCIE is walk_exhausted_loop AND LUCIE faces right
THEN LUCIE is idle_exhausted_loop
but the way you coded it was she walks and she walks this way and she is iddle because you only used the & command
you need to make her enter THEN/ @ do the idle

This is what I mean:
As soon as Lucie stops, she freezes
And only then goes into animation.

okay wait i’ll try it on my computer

No worries!
When I want a character do an animation directly after another animation, I use is for the first animation and then starts for the second animation.
I know their purposes can sometimes come off as confusing, but I hope you can remember that (if you want to) for whenever you need an animation to happen directly after another. The format has always worked for me and should for you too.
“Is” is mainly for allowing characters to play through full animations and “starts” is a more cut-in command that doesn’t focus on full play through hence why it doesn’t have those idle pauses when it comes to animations.
I haven’t read this guide, but it might give you a better explanation of it than I can and it may perhaps help you with future scenes:
@kahlouchee I love the effort you’ve put into helping firefly!

The “shake” effect is by rapid zooms. I’ll show you two old posts I saw years ago that showed the effect (on video and code).
Uwe’s video:

Uwe’s code:

For having the rapid zooms happen at the same time as the kiss, you’ll need to have &zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s THEN zoom on x y to % in s
on a line before the kiss.
Uwe’s code works well for zone 1 (I know because I’ve tried it in zone 1 and other zones), if you have your character kissing in zone 2 or 3, you’ll likely have to change your zoom coordinates to suit the zone.
You can choose to have two different zoom points or three and have your zooms quite fast (0.1, 0.2).
