Only the top 100 are now being shown in each genre section? My story was one of the first to be approved and got back on the app. Now because I float somewhere between #120 - #300 I’m not being shown. This feels like a punishment for not getting enough reads.

I have the same problem. My story disappears from the mystery section too, even it passed the review and were approved. I hope it’s a glitch!

If the story is unapproved and let’s say #10 place in general, will it not be shown at all in Trending Section or it will be on #101 place just right after approved ones?
I’m curious if in the current situation it’s better to be shown #120 in ranking or hidden #90 or they just make a long queue after 100?
Is the title “APPROVED” story same as “REVIEWED”?

I submitted a support ticket yesterday and got an email response just now that makes it sound like it’s a known issue.
The email said that a fix should be available soon 
Not sure if it matters, but my story is in the top 100 of its genre, so it’s not a matter of being “bumped” off.

I’m happy about the leaderboard shelves being back on track now, but it stills puts many authors at a disadvantage because their stories won’t be on the shelves until their story gets reviewed.

@Liz Well, in the comedy section there are only 80 stories. My third story disappeared, and my second story reappeared after doing R4R. 
My story is back. Maybe yours is too?
There’s only one of them. 
Having just 1 story show is really awesome though, try to be positive

This announcement is more confusing than any other before.
All what was said in previous announcements, isn’t valid anymore.
Before it was said you mark stories as reviewed and not-reviewed and that only reviewed stories will be visible in trending sections.
But now you’re talking about approved stories. And that only approved stories will be visible in trending sections, no matter if they’re reviewed or not.
All my stories were reviewed very soon and were visible between genre’s trendings. But now everything is changed. They were removed from trendings for no reason and because of that their reads have drastically dropped. One is still in top 100, but nevertheless is not visible between trendings.
On the other side I have a new story which is keeping its top 100 position in its genre, but it is not reviewed and also not visible in trendings.
My question is: by what criteria you decide that some stories are approved to be visible in trendings and others not?
Please explain

@Liz What about the Dirty Dancing contest shelf that was skipped over? I hope the Episode team is aware of how unfair that would be to continue to leave it out. Those of us that won earned a spot on that permanent shelf just like every other contest winner. It makes no sense that that shelf is now nonexistent.

@Liz @CoraMae @blue.moon.writes From my own experience, my stories reappear in the comedy section when I do R4R, but hours later they disappear. I think that every story that passed review should be seen in their respective genres regardless of whether they get a lot of reads or not. 
I no longer bother to see if my stories are visible because it’s a waste of time.

I posted about this 10 days ago and there hasn’t been a response. Still waiting for confirmation from @Liz, @Sydney_H, @Melani3 or whoever would like to tell us what is happening with the Dirty Dancing contest shelf.

@Liz approved stories that were back on the ranks and then disappeared are still missing from the ranks and it’s been weeks. Is there any update on what’s going on with approved stories being removed from the ranks?
