@Liz, about these story reviews and approvals…

@Liz, I noticed this earlier, but I waited a few weeks hoping that it was a glitch and that you are going to fix it. You said the top 100 stories should be visible in the trending for every genre, but they are not.
This is what I see today:
And I know it’s not because these are all the stories reviewed, because I have a story that doesn’t show up in Comedy when it’s ranked #81-100, but it does show up when it’s #70 for example.
Can you please check this?
I don’t want to submit a ticket for this, because my main issue is not that it happens with my story. It’s that it happens to everyone, so I wanted to address this.
One of my story rank 61 in horror but it’s vanish just like that. Idk what to say anymore…
Same, I’ve noticed this as well.
@Liz It’s the same with my stories (3). ![]()
You say the shelves are updating again?
If that’s the case, why are we not getting any contest shelves beyond Heroes and Villans?!
@Liz- I am also wondering about this. When will the genre ranks be expanded? My story has passed review but since it is still not visible and has not been for months, logically there is no way for it to enter the top 100, as no one can see it. Will this vicious cycle of the same big trending authors getting all of the ranking spots ever be broken?
They skipped the Dirty Dancing shelf altogether. It was the contest directly after Fantastical and before Thriller. No sign of it anywhere, even though both of those other shelves are present. @Liz @Melani3 @Sydney_H and the lot of them keep disregarding these messages, but there were 6 stories on that shelf that rightfully won a spot.
Not just dirty dancing—where’s Valentine’s Day, a spotlight on love, haunted, or perfect pitches?
Those came before H&V, so they likely didn’t get to them yet. Dirty Dancing came after H&V, so they skipped right over it.
Maybe you should promote the minor stories because the leaderboard shelves are made of popular stories already, give the small authors a bit of recognition instead of showing already-trending stories
“big” author = big wallet…for all their expensive covers, art work and paying for marketing or promotional teams, which is a huge boost to get reads. Money talks.
Episode also caters to the big spenders - which is what I call them - cos of all the money they spend on professionally designed covers and artwork. All that stuff is great for promoting the app and getting more people to download it.
when my story will be reviewed? It’s been 3 months and my rank is stuck at 100 and people keep spending gems but it stays stable @Liz
