You can ask them to wait a few days, backgrounds aren’t as urgent as your entry

Because, retention doesn’t count until after the deadline, but it’s entirely up to you, as to when you publish, I just know a lot are waiting until Monday.

So, the 25th.
Monday is the 26th. I’m personally 2 hours ahead of PST so I’d be uploading my entry (hypothetically- I’m not entering) at any time Monday because for me, the deadline is 2am on Tuesday morning.

I have enough things to work on, plus I entered Thriller and doing two in a row would be a bit much for me 
I just like to stalk all contest threads to see what stories are coming up 
since I always like to read as many as possible
