When I think of fantasy… I think about something out of this world. So it’s a yes from me, a demon/ghost does not belong on this world. Neither magic.

Or maybe people aren’t interested in this contest? I’ll admit the H&V theme was pretty cool and could fit any genre which is probably why a lot entered. This has a more fantasy centered theme hence the name ‘Fantastical’.

A bit competition wouldn’t hurt I guess 
I guess fantasy isn’t for everyone. I heard it quite a lot that people don’t like fantasy

Yeah!! Everyone is not a “fantasy” person like us…
The people that I have asked this question and every or most of the new writers are writing their first story in the genre that is either romance or Drama…
So, it can’t be helped…

Yea, most writers write Romance and Drama. I am glad that Episode has a fantasy contest to promote fantasy story.

Are dark themed. Definitely amazing to write villains. 
I put some motivation songs such as God Mode, maybe it will fasten your writing.

So I listen to Hindi songs that literally keeps me motivated…
But I won’t write them as I know not everybody here can understand them…

I know a lot of people are still working on their story (like me lol), but I don’t think that this theme has limits related to genres! My story will be a comedy with some romance too

If you review the guidelines the stories for this contest are supposed to be in the Fantasy genre 
Anyone have an answer regarding this issue? I am in dire need of advice with the approaching deadline 
Yeah it’s a fantasy story! But with a little of comedy 
But I have to put it only under Fantasy genre? If I’m not wrong, in the previous contest some stories were under different genres. Or maybe they changed it after.
But I can assure you, it’s 100% fantasy

Exactly, mine is thriller, putting it under fantasy would be weird.
