I’m writing a fantasy story but I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish all the 8 chapters on time. It’s not exactly about a superhero but there’s sort of a group who protect people blah blah blah (won’t say more, don’t wanna give away the plot!).
However I think many are writing stories about criminals? Or mafia?

Oh sorry, of course it is! This means people are being more creative and stuff. And I’ve seen mostly stories about romance or having a secret singing career…I think.

I think it looks great, especially for an edited cover 
But I suggest making the character in the middle bigger, so it’s more noticeable on a screen, especially on a phone 
And maybe play around with some filters to bring more attention to the cover

Adding to IrisLevont’s reply, I suggest adding a shadow to the text and using a different color so that it pops out more.

Hey! I’m entering the DL contest and was looking for a writing serious and experienced partner. Someone who is really good at writing. Brit English if possible

(By writing partner, I mean a person who can help me in writing and not coding. I’ll do 75% of the work and you can do 25% )

Now, write stories that you want to write, u wanted to go with fantasy go for it! Don’t just think about writing mafia stories because that’s a whole lot of research and other stuff you’re going to have to deal with. If an idea comes to your mind, go for it! Write it! Plan it out, don’t just think about wiriting stories that you see gaining a lot of attention like mafia stories, and you see others are wiriting it. Eh, tbh, I’m not really liking mafia stories that much. But…
Be creative of what u want to write about. Like singers, spy/agent/celebritity, etc. don’t just think about mafia, think about lots of other careers.

Hey I have a question, so the story idea I have planned is about the MC discovering she has a secret life in a different society to not spoil my story idea, but does it count if the MC’s “secret life” is partially revealed at the end of chapter 1?
