would it still count if my character transforms in the end of the first episode to have a cliff-hanger resulting to the next episode? or do I have to explain the transformation and stuff in the first episode rather than the second?

(just my opinion) I think it’d be fine. It’s enough to show it through a flashback, so I think yes.

I think you can transform at the end of chapter …so it creates suspence or excitement in reader to read 2nd episode …
I personally feel if we show so much in first episode … remaining episodes may not have that impact
