Judging by my current rate of write, it’s likely that I’ll have more than eight chapters done by the deadline. So… if I submit the form after I publish the eighth chapter and the title I have published is DL: Sleight of Hand [8] do I type that title into the form? Or do I just type DL: Sleight of Hand in case it becomes [9] before the deadline?

After you published your story and starting to fill in the information in the form, all you need to do is type in your story name. DL: Sleight of Hand. You don’t need to include the number of chapters/episodes in your title.

so I finally almost finished chapter 5 - I still have to make a bonus scene but the rest is ready…this single chapter took me almost a month…with this speed I might not make it to deadline even having 5 chapters…
For an unknown reason, I feel totally demotivated to write anything at this moment… I wanted to at last switch to my ongoing story (if the block is only regarding my DL entry) but that didn’t work too…I feel like the only thing I really want to do, is lay in bed and watch Netflix all day long. 
So I have no real excuse, I am just damn lazy.

I would recomand to not include the chapter number in the story name as long as the contest goes.
It’s just safer in case the change would matter.

it depends how much romance is important for the story - in one of my stories we meet LI in chapter 6 and there is no way (unles making some “future scene flash”) to make it earlier.
But I got few readers asking when we will meet the LI to be honest.

Also, anyone else getting majorly confused by the branching in the script? I tried adding four branches to my intro and it failed… miserably. So now I’m just adding two and I spent A WEEK trying to figure out what was going on with my tappable overlays, as some in the start menu had stopped working… This is not going the way I wanted it to at all.
And THEN there’s me forgetting to write down my ideas last week, so now when I can actually get back to writing, for this chapter I only have the skeleton that is not fleshed out at all…
And also it’s already May and I’m not going to have steady computer access in June onward.
So yeah, this sucks. 
TL;DR
Everything is failing miserably.

It can’t be just me that isn’t sure about having 8 episodes before the deadline, so I am wondering if there are more people unsure.

I’m pretty sure I’ll have the 8 chapters ready 2 weeks before the deadline, I’ve set a schedule for myself according to my free time and am pretty ahead of the schedule.
Hoping I’d just not loose motivation in the middle.

But I selected ‘Yes’ since I have an incredible amount of self-motivation and confidence…This never ever happens so I’m taking advantage of it…especially since I’m standing right in front of the “Teacher’s Final Exams’s Splash Zone”!

I’ve not really written seriously for my entry in about a week as I’ve been busy, I’m hoping that it won’t have slowed me down too much, I’ve got some great ideas.
