I have a question, maybe someone or @Tory can answer it.
I had a story almost ready to publish when I saw this contest. I’ve never participated in one before-
However, I think I can have the story ready in a week or two. But I’m wondering, how early can you publish it? Any pros and cons?

I think u should publish it way more closer to the deadline since were still in January and deadline is in April. Gives u plenty of time to check things and making sure your story fits the theme and follows guidelines.

I don’t think there’s a limit on how early you can publish but retention grading for 100 reads won’t start til after the contest deadline (it’s like a 7-14 day period according to episode). So, if on April 13th or whenever you got 100 extra reads you’d be fine.
Personally I would not publish this early especially since there’s a 3 month wait for every other entry. You’d also be missing out on a lot of natural promo and support just because it’s a contest entry.

Thanks . I also do the same but 1 first write one chapter then code it then go to the 2nd one. Or sometimes, I even write more than 1 chapter then code.
