Hey there! It’s day 11 of 83. Time for another poll!

How do you like to plan your stories?

  • I keep in mind the major events I want to happen and, go with the flow.
  • Beginning to end, I need to plan every single detail!
  • What is planning? Is that a ketchup? I don’t plan my story.
  • I only plan how each episode starts and ends.

i have the major plot points planned out, i just struggle to fill the gaps between them :woman_shrugging: i might just make it up as i go along and see what happens

I needed another option. “I plan the major events, but sometimes my characters disagree with how something goes and I have to change it up.”

Yeah! Sometimes after you’ve really thought through how things should pan out, while writing you’ve realized that a character wouldn’t actually do a certain thing because it’s out of character. I completely relate lol.

Given that there’s only 12 votes I think that 8% is just me…I accidentally read it wrong and clicked 20. Mine is actually 1-3.

People having 6-10 gem choices in a single chapter are a blessing. I don’t even know what to add and what not to add in my bonus scenes!

I already have my whole story planned out so it helps…there’s already points in my story where she makes a decision…even a small one.

When I write bonus scenes I think “What would have happened if Lyla did this…or what would have happened if Lyla didn’t do that?”

Honestly I’m really excited to get to later in my story. I have these scene I wrote where Lyla kisses him on the cheek and now I’m thinking hmmm…what would have happened if she’d actually kissed him…bonus scene content!
