Hi! Could someone tell me…is there a certain time you should publish your contest entry?? Like is it best to publish just before the deadline or just whenever you finish it…

I don’t know if this helps any but I published mine for the K&T contest a few hours before so I would have it done. I still made some edits afterwards though, but before the deadline.
I just wouldn’t publish too far in advance because your reads won’t count towards the 100 reads. They only count after the deadline. Personally, though, I would publish it a few hours before just to be on the safe side. You don’t want to be editing last minute, submit, and then your story not go through.

No problem! Personally even if they did I’d still hold off until closer to time. In my opinion there’s always a bit more writers can do to improve their stories. Congrats on getting it done so quickly though!

same! i have one im working on rn but really want it to work out well and not be rushed and since another main element of it has to do with the lgbtq+ community im publishing it during june to help stand for everyone
