So wait, we don’t have to publish it tonight (Sunday)? I assumed that they meant since 12:00 marks the next day, it’s due tonight at 11:59…
But instead it’s tomorrow night?..

yes. u can publish either tonight or tomorrow.
It’s due tomorrow night at 11:59 pm PDT, so you can publish any time before then.

If in doubt you can publish before the deadline and if you don’t want people to read it yet, just lock it with a password. It’s classed as published x

No problem. I can’t see anything in the rules which states that you can’t lock with a password. It is technically published. It’s just locked
