I’ve had a couple more ideas since yesterday if anyone is interested, here they are:

A teenager has to get used to having a new step sibling (non romance) when their mom remarries, but when push comes to shove the two of them have to protect each other.
When a young actress gets her first starring role, she must find a way to get on with her co star, who it turns out was her former best friend from childhood who she fell out with.
A young girl is sent off to foster with her great aunt while her parents go on a research trip.

@Melani3 I’m aware that the 2 main characters and the situation they are stuck in have to be shown in the first episode but is it ok that one of the main characters doesn’t know about it until after the first chapter?

I started writing this story last week (whilst working on my other stories) …so the first chapter is nearly complete! And my covers are all done, uploaded and pre-approved.
So it looks like for the first time ever I’ll be able to publish way ahead of the deadline, instead of last minute!

Damn, I forgot how exhausting it is just to create all your characters. And how the randomizer doesn’t help, 'cause it creates characters with feature that doesn’t match most of the time.

I always use the randomizer and then tweak the character details until they look right. They make a good base to start with.
