Heeey, I’m really interested in making smooth and light transitions to doesn’t look like it just popped up a new scenario, but I’m out of ideas. Any creative suggestions?

you could zoom into the wall or floor and then come back from it and then havve a next scene
Here’s my personal experience:
When you know how to switch scenes, the transitions come to you naturally.
For example, I want to jump from MC arc to LI arc after they meet. I know that I want them to meet (point A), and after that I want to change perspective to the LI (point B).
So after they meet(A), as they part ways, transition into the next scene where the story continues on LI arc(B).
Transition itself mostly depends on the scene and your story aesthetic. If you can’t manage to find one that fits your story, the preset transition would do.

I personaly see the good old fading to black as most natural
