Any good high school stories to read?

I’m thinking about making some major changes to my unpublished high school story, and I need inspiration and motivation from other high school stories to figure out what I want to add in mine! Also, if you want to give tips on how to make a good high school story, then you can check out this thread of mine below:

Anyway, you can either promote your story or give story recommendations! And just to be clear, I have already read the high school stories— Kiss List by @mariam.stories and, Spilled Love Potion and The Queen of Limelight by Ana Stacy.

I don’t mind cliche high school stories, but I don’t want to read ones with the following:

  • Bad boys/girls (unless they’re non-toxic)
  • Teen pregnancy
  • Teacher/Student relationships :nauseated_face:
  • Token POC best friend
  • Any culturally misrepresented characters (no Attracted to the Nerd)
  • ABSOLUTELY NO FEATURED HIGH SCHOOL STORIES (nothing by Joseph Evans or Episode themselves)

When you say no bad boys/girls, do you mean the MC and LI? I think I have a few suggestions but there’s like that mean girl on the side who’s always trying to get revenge or whatever

Yes, I’m tired of bad boys and bad girls as the MC and LI. And I don’t mind a mean girl as an antagonist. 🤷🏽

Would college work too?
And do the characters have to just be in high school or does most of the story have to literally take place at the high school?
sorry if I’m bombarding you with questions but it’s really hard to meet the criteria

That’s easy. Check out The Clumsy Supergirl by Marion c.
god I love that story, it’s like a combination of a cliché but…but not?

it’s fantasy/comedy but you could get ideas about the high school lifestyle and the narration if you know what I mean

The Gamer Girl by Wincy W. is really good! It has amazing directing, choices matter, a point system, an LGBT choice for LI, 2LI and customisation.
