I recently made an instagram to start promoting my new story that’s currently in progress, but i only have 1 follower. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to gain more so that i can successfully promote my upcoming story. Thanks <3

Idk, but I guess you could post your insta account on here and tell people your upcoming story so a lot more people would be interested. I hope you found this a bit helpful.

I don’t have any posts on it currently as I’m waiting for my cover art to be finished. But the account is called @ da1syepisode. The story follows the life of two girls in their senior year who’s bad reputation’s seem to define them. They’re dealing with a number of personal problems that they’re trying to stay hidden. One of the girls is in love with someone who only see’s her as a fling and the other has had her secret relationship wrecked by her own personal problems. (I haven’t fully figured out the story description yet).

I would say don’t be afraid to follow other people first. I’ve made quite a few friends by just taking a chance and following accounts that interested me.

Following some of your favorite authors episode accounts, making a thread on the forums to promote it and offer follow for follow, I also recommend using lots of episode related hashtags when you post. I usually get a couple followers every time I do that. Posting somewhat frequently will help as well. I personally would not follow an account that has none, or only a few sporadic posts unless I was really good friends with them
