Oops, thank you!
Right!!! It’s crazy! But makes it so much cooler in my eyes
same!! like I some of the stories I read are so good that I dont even know how they made them!!
i agree! i literally can’t even read a complex scene without thinking about how long it took the author to do the scene and how much effort went into it. i can’t even concentrate during minigames because i’m always trying to work out an outline of what the code looks like and how long it would take me to do something like that.
I agree but I simultanouslty developed an “eye” for directing mistakes and what would not bother me before I got into coding now gets on my nerves.
I actually had to quis severaly very popular stories realizing my directing is better …I cant explain but the feeling was that stories with milions of reads shuld really have flawles directing and I got pissed that the author doesnt care as many small authors do. So I quited the story.
Days??? Girl one episode takes me 2 weeks to a month🥲
Yes, exactly!! I do that too! hahah That’s so funny! You’re like piecing it all together in your head and miss the story haahahha
Okay, yess!! One of my biggest pet peeves in a story is like someone not adjusting the speech bubbles! Like its such a simple change that makes a world of a difference! I completely agree with you! It’s so hard to look past some mistakes!!
HAHAH!! Okay, so yeah my first episode one or two probably took me not that long, but now that I have gotten the hang of it (now working on episode 5) I am doing a lot more, like mini games and stuff so it for sure takes me longer! hahahahah, I searched the forums and saw a lot of people usually make their episodes around 7k lines of code and I was like maaaaybe hitting 1k so I think that timeline was because I wasn’t making/ adding enough hahaha
same here. Its partly because lack of free time but I am now publishing new chapter in around month period. Which is having 2 running stories pretty long🤦♀️
I was before for oonger time on 10-14 days. But that meant I was writing every evening after work and the whole weekends. I felt so under preasurre that I have to keep this speed readers are used to, that I havent realized I am heavilly neglecting my own life. So I had to tell myself that the writing and readers expectations arent more important than me and adjusted the time I spend writing. Yes it had negative impact on keeping up in ranks but I am anyway not in pay section so no biggie.
ALL OF THIS!!!
My level of respect for Episode creators shot all the way through the roof after I started working on my story. I have literally been working on my story for over a year… Yep!!! I straight up said over 365 days on the same story… ( and I still have not finished three complete chapters yet to publish… but that is a whole different story )
I am just now starting to write scenes and complete them within a few days or so. I skip around … so none of the scenes are even attached to the first three chapters of the story… but at least now I am able to create scenes, animate them and have some pretty good advanced coding taking place. But yes… I have HUGE respect for all of the Episode creators that are making these stories!!!
My story took me years and if that’s not hard work. I don’t know what is
You are the first person I know who has admitted to this!!! It’s very encouraging!!! I have been writing my story for over a year, but I know I am getting better and better!!!
