So for the second time today I have been working on my story. I will save and preview throughout but for some reason, the page will go down for just a moment losing what ever I had typed in between saving losing important parts of my story. Anyone else having this problem?

This has never happened to me 
click on “See all previous revisions”, hopefully your lost code will be there.
