Anyone play Sims 3?

Gotta admit I haven’t seen one person on the forums that played Sims 3 or mentioned. I might be completely blind, but I feel lonely and let’s talk about it! Share your stories or experiences about it.

Here’s one:

So, you know that weird sad music that you get if a loved member in your household died, pet or child gets taken away, etc. I was playing casually and I got that! I got super confused and since I was playing with the Hidden Springs world. I went Sherlock Holmes and tried to see what was going on. So, oof. I didn’t figure out a thing, I found it pretty creepy and I thought for a moment that my Sim’s boyfriend died or I neglected the dog.

Wanna become friends on the Sims 3 website or anything like that? Tell me your username.

I love playing Sims 3!
I have tons of the expansion packs and I have been obsessed since I was 12.

One time, I was using the Island pack and both of my characters were old. One was rich and active. The other was lazy and doing the MOST DISGUSTING things on the floor. So what did my 12 year old self do? Kill her off. I killed a Sims character because I was BORED and hated her  :joy:

I don’t even know what I was going through :joy: :joy:

Yasss! Sims 3 is amazing! I couldn’t agree more with being so bored with a specific Sim and absolutely despise him or her. What was your favorite expansion pack?

Probably the Island one. I LOVED the fact you could turn Sims characters into mermaids, own resorts and instantly get rich, and of course - the most important thing - a boat house :joy:

Ooh! When you see your Sim turning into a mermaid and the process of it makes it so interesting for no reason. “Easily-Impressed.” is probably one of my traits, lol.

But my other favourite was the supernatural one, except for the fact that zombies were always in my garden

Interesting, I would’ve thought many people would play sims as well since they are both story telling platforms. I agree though the island one added so much and the house boats were amazing.
Supernatural is really cool too though can get annoying when you’re trying to play a normal game. World adventures is probably my favorite though. Anyone have a favorite city/world? I think Lucky Palms is one of the most beautiful.

It surprises me as well, I’d say my favourite world was the supernatural one (forgot the name). I just loved its naturally dark, but magical, world.

Supernatural is so cool! I really like the fairies and witches! Even tho, the zombies are such a pet peeve. I always had to lock my gates because they would eat my garden.

I tried but I was too busy trying to make my witch literally become the leader of the world :joy:

My favorite world is probably Hidden Springs, it’s so beautiful and the view of it is magnificent. Supernatural was a great expansion pack!

Yeah the waterfall lake and all the nature in that town is so pretty. I also love the historic style homes. It seems like every other town also uses a modern style

Yeah those were my favorite two types as well. Personally I hated the way they made werewolves and never played them.

I remember getting the Sims 3 and I thought you could play it with JUST an expansion, so. I got Island Paradise and I started it up and oof. I didn’t have the base game! Wow! I was super bummed out, but hey. I was glad that I bought the basegame with Showtime.

I never seen Lucky Palms, how is it like? A beach environment?

I don’t know the exact location but I’m pretty sure its like las vegas Nevada. Usually desert worlds are kinda boring but the sunsets are sooo beautiful like everything in the world is pink and orange with grand canyon type mountains in the background.
