Okay so my upcoming story (I based it off my unpublished Wattpad story) includes the following,
1. Teen Pregnancy, not shaming it but it’s the main part of the story of how in the past, she had a teen pregnancy and the struggles she went through, made the person she is today.
2. Somewhat abuse? More of what happened in the past and the MC just explaining it.
3. Mafias. Not glorifying them though. Literally in the end they run away lol.
I have just been seeing a lot of people get hate from these topics and I just want to know if there are small things I should avoid if I’m writing about this.
There has been a “debate” on the first one today and the main problem lies with glamorizing it. You want to make sure people have a TW before the story even starts and tell people it is not a good situation to be in. All of these should have TW’s and they should be condemned.
Use warnings before the topic pops up because people find some of those topics triggering…And be aware that people might give some hate towards it because people tend to not like those types of stories so they will voice their opinions…if you like your story line then keep it
