I’m sorry if a topic such as this one already exists, I couldn’t find one.
I know Episode are currently going through some “renovations” and changes, and this is why approvals are slow at the moment. However, I have stuff from the 22nd that aren’t approved yet and I’m starting to get annoyed… Why isn’t it approved by now?? Episode said that it usually takes them up to 72 hours to approve art, yet more than twice that time has passed. Me, including a lot of community authors, can’t publish our stories! I personally just came back from a month-long vacation and I really wanted to get my new chapters out there ASAP because my readers have been patiently waiting for a long time now, but I can’t do that without the approvals!
How long does it take you guys to get your stuff approved these days? And why are Episode taking so long to approve our art?
Any chance that the Mods have some sort of info they can give us? I’m not too active on the forums and don’t know them too well so please tag them below so that they notice this thread!
22nd of August? I usually wait weeks for Episode to approve my backgrounds and overlays, and after less than a month, it usually gets approved. Maybe try PMing a mod if possible for a response.
Me too it used to be 3-4 days maximum but I had to wait 2 weeks once in order to get my overlays approved. I haven’t tried backgrounds yet but this is my experience with overlay approval.
One of my overlays is currently taking a while to get reviewed aswell, but we have to remember that they probably have THOUSANDS of backgrounds and overlays to review in a week. I think that we just have to be patient.
I really am trying, it’s just that as I said, I was on vacation for a month and then it took me two more weeks to write my new chapters. My readers have been waiting for a lot of time now and I’m constantly asked when the new chapters will be out even though they’re ready to publish so I am a little impatient. It usually doesn’t take that long
I’ve seen it go through phases like this before. I’m not even close to updating at the moment so it doesn’t affect me right now. But times like these make me more grateful when they are quick and you bet I take advantage of it then too lol

Like 2 months ago my overlays got approved within 24 hours. All of them. But there were times when I had to wait 2-3 weeks, and as I saw on the forums this happened to a lot of other authors too at that time. As Amber said, it goes through phases. You have to be patient. I’m pretty sure that Episode team members have been taking their vacations too and probably that’s one of the reasons why this takes so long.
