Honestly I think these outlines came out great. I personally half-do/rush sketch an outline and when I color it is when the picture’s complete, otherwise it doesn’t really look like much because I can’t trace worth a crap even using the stabilizer. 
I’m not a pro artist but if you’d like to learn a basic way to color LL hair I can share what I do with you and then you can just add your own twist to it by playing with other colors or brushes.
