I am sadly related to these type of “men” but people try to make me feel over dramatic for calling it out when he “makes a joke”. The only joke in the situation is these people who think it is okay to use dark humour as an excuse. Nobody should feel scared to walk around at night in fear of getting assulted. The “men” complain at the curfew but don’t realise the ones we have to set for ourselves. I have been able to walk at night and be safe but just the thought of it makes me feel sick.
Unfortunately although it would make me feel safer, I don’t see how it will work, some men will kick against it and go out anyway, there would be no way to police it and there are some men who will have a reason to be out that late for example men who are going to and from work, shopping after work, caring for a relative etc.
I like the idea of it but I honestly can’t see it working
Unfortunately it doesn’t work
Same, my dad works late so his whole work schedule would change. But the thing was it was brought up to make the point that we do it all the time. But when they have to be controlled by the government it is wrong.
OK IM GONNA FIX IT. lol
Stuff like this honestly just confuse me. And I mean that in the more sincerest way possible. There’s countless cases of where assault was happening and passerbys witnessing it happening not even stopping by to help-- or d*mn, at least call the police.
And I don’t get it. I mean, I’ve always thought that the majority opinion was that this stuff was bad. Or at least that was how I was convinced by the internet. But when it happens irl, it’s a different story and there’s a completely different set of rules that applies. And the contradiction is disappointing. It makes me wonder how many people say they advocate against s-xual a-use and s-xual harrassment and how many of those people are completely complicit with it in real life situations.
That is true… tell you what they could do…
Actually on second thoughts never mind I was about to say police the streets better (this wasn’t supposed to be sarcastic…)

Well the person’s account name is @imvalenciagrace and it’s the second most recent video, pls watch it. it made me so sad.
Don’t forget it was the police that ended up betraying Sarah.
I mean if someone who is supposed to protect you does this then what can we expect from others.
And those people gathering for the vigil get attacked but the football fans are all good. “Hey, it was a monumental moment and very important, that is why they couldn’t stay home”.
I completely agree and I’m so sorry that happened to you, I was sexually harassed at school too. All they were told was to
“Not do it again.” This is where we can use learning techniques to teach teenagers boys and girls how to respect boundaries!
The amount of times I have heard that in my life. ![]()
Thats why I wrote that at first I was legit about to say police the streets then I remembered what happened to Sarah and realised that we can’t really trust anyone can we
Yeah I know that is why I said that to you as a sarcastic comment back. If we can’t trust the people who are sworn in by the law then who can we trust?
Sorry I’m having a dumb moment
it’s scary to think that we can’t trust the police
I’m sorry, I never heard about Sarah. I’d like to know more about their story. What’s their full name?
sarah everard
It’s Sarah who brought all this forward, Sarah Everard
DID YOU watch IT???

I did, it is so unfair that these “men” can’t just let these women live their lives. I mean they were just trying to get from A to B and it caused them trauma.
I’ll take a look now
