I want to ask about something else. I have read that if you get an eye infection, you should throw out your eye makeup, so you don’t re-infect yourself with contaminated cosmetics. I’m one of those people who gets recurring eye infections. In the course of a year, I can expect to have 2 to 5 infections. I don’t wear makeup often, but when I do, I use a cotton swab, and be careful not to double dip it. That way, there’s no chance of transferring bacteria to my makeup.
Here’s the issue. I don’t know of a way to apply eyeliner without touching my eye with the pencil. Do you know of a product that can help? Maybe there’s an applicator that I can wash after use, or maybe I could get some sample sized pencils. (I’ve never seen sample pencils. I’m imagining them being an inch long and hard to use.) I just hate the idea of throwing out a perfectly good eyeliner pencil that only got used twice.
