I tried for a couple of months just cropping a screenshot of where I’m making an outfit and stuff, but when I move them to photoshop and start working, I realise it’s very pixelated. Then, I tried animating them on a black background and there taking a screenshot but same thing happened.
How do you guys do it? Or is it a photoshop problem?
Thanks in advanced!!
I tend to use a red or green background when taking the screenshot.
If your removing the background of the image, I sometimes find that helps too. If you are use an online website called ‘remove.bg’ it’s free and removes the background without leaving any traces around the image itself and does not to a very high standard.
This may be a problem with photoshop, but I personally don’t use photoshop so I’m not sure.
Thank you!
But I was talking about the quality image itself, I mean after taking off the beckground, it’s very pixelated (as so is before)
Oh, sorry. I misunderstood.
If your not already, try taking the screenshot on your phone, then emailing it to yourslef/the email you use on the device that you photoshop on.
Sometimes phones have better quality.
Also, if you don’t already, zoom in to the character. Try to make it the full screen before screenshoting.
Thank you so much!! I tried zoomig in but didn’t try trough my phone
Let me know if it works.
Glad I could help a bit
try transferring the images directly from ur phone to ur laptop/pc using a charging cable !! that’s what i do because i find that emailing them to myself ruins their quality ! it may just be a photoshop problem tho , i’m not sure since i use pixlr and picsart lmao
Thank you!! I’ll try that
I just upload them to docs, that works for me and the pictures keep the quality
You screenshot them in your phone first?
Yeah with a green bg!
Thank you!!!
I think you can also try dis…Just upload a plain background with the same color as the background you’ll using for ur edit, code your character with the desired animation and outfit on ur pc and save the episode. Then type the url of that episode on ur phone’s browser, when the same scene starts playing on your phone, just screenshot it from there. For removing the background without damaging the quality, you may use online background remover tools…This will get you your character in the highest quality possible!
P.S. You may use coding to zoom onto your character on the writer portal, according to your edit requirements!
Yeah the quality definitely suffers if you copy from the website. If I have trouble I usually just make a mirrored copy in the app, take a screenshot, & send it to myself! That does the trick for me every time I’ve found the website to have poor quality in general w/ both colors & pixelation
Thank you so much!
Thank you so so much!!
