Hey, guys :wave:t5:
I just wanted to make this thread to discuss Black culture and how it is portrayed in Episode stories.

First up: Clothes

I have dreams of getting a job in the fashion industry and clothes are very important in a story. There are certain clothes I have seen that remind me of clothes I have seen people from my country (Ghana) wear. And I love this!!! I am all for showing African culture as a black girl myself.

It would be nice if we could have more of these because I love seeing them and I know so many more authors and readers would love to see cultural clothes.

Next up: Hairstyles

I like the hairstyles that we have but in featured stories there are so much more! Please release them!! :pleading_face::pleading_face:

Also, could we have more Episode stories with black people and our culture like Instant Princess (it’s soooo good!!! Go check it out!)

There are some aspects of African culture on episode but i think that its not enough
If you search up Africa in the backgrounds…you’ll find a savanna and a village. Honestly i would love to see an African styled living room or sth like that.But t least episode is making an effort.
