This was one of the first Magicka entries I read because I wanted to start off strong (and did) but my brain is so garbled with other Magicka stuff that I don’t remember exactly what choices I made (or why). Except that I definitely touched the snake.

I love Amari & Deji though. Like, what a team! I’m probably gonna reread this one soon though and take notes in my handy lil notebook so I can keep up with absolutely incredible, complex world-building.

I can’t wait until the overlay glitch is gone for everyone and Black Heliconia can be experienced in its best form. Those black lines… :sob:

No, it’s so gorgeous so it has rights :sob:

I’ve thought about it a lot and I think my fave look is actually Deji’s. Their suit, their spotlight bubble… It all just ties in so well

I think Deji has a really cool cohesion to them, even though my preference is Amari’s looks. Their look being so cybernetic by nature stands out.

It pains me…

This makes me so happy because out of all the characters I’ve made, and the ton you guys haven’t seen yet (whom I love very much) they go in the top 5 for me. It was a lot of fun, although I’ll say that individually cutting out their eyelashes for every expression was a bit tiresome sksks…comments like these makes it so worth it! :smiley:

I honestly teared up at the scenes with Amari’s mother because a) im a baby b) it was truly beautiful and c) mom feels hit home so hard for me

Both the dialogue and narration throughout the whole story are just so spot on and captivating
