My parents and I are Indian. I was born there, but I was raised in Scotland. I visit there often though! :two_hearts:

my dad is south indian and my mom is north indian, my dad speaks telego while my mom speaks kannada. hbu? (btw my favorite dishes are totally vada, dosa, and garlic naan)

I love dosa and naan! Did you ever try dal makhani? (It’s not popular in all the states so you might not have heard of it)

Yeah I have!! not my cup of tea though. i was born & grew up here but my parents still cook all the indian food lol

ughhhh I honestly wish my parents would have taught me how to speak anything. My mom can literally speak four languages and whenever we visit india everyone is always having conversations and I can’t keep up
