This is just a question floating in my head for a whlie now. Is there ways the admins can help people when spammed. I’ve had more than one thread of mine be closed for up to three days at one point due to trolls and spam. However, when trying to ask trolls to leave and delete what they have done i get flagged. Once even causing me to be suspended for simply asking trolls to stop.
I was just wondering if Admins know this and can help or this is an issue which I will be consistently getting suspended and having my threads closed because of.
Maybe you should message one of them and ask them this question. Any answer we give you will be an assumption. Also, telling trolls to stop trolling is considered an off-topic comment which is why you get flagged.
Hi @BrookieK This is because you are not a moderator and attempting to perform the job of one. Instead of replying to the “troll” inside the thread and creating more off topic discussion/spam please flag the post or thread that violates the forum rules. Once the forum team gets to the flag it will be handled by the forum team. It’s the Admin and Moderators jobs to be doing the moderating, not the communities.
We are very well aware of the forum having trolls or users simply here to cause problems. Unfortunately, we cannot take care of them unless notified via flag. So please flag any rule violations and the forum team will happily address it.
