I have a good idea for an episode story, but I start working on a new one when I’m in the middle of the first episode. I want to work on 50 stories at once because I can’t seem to focus on just one
I do the same thing! It’s definitely a struggle
Glad it’s not just me
Same with me with the rest of my stories, everytime I get an idea, I plan. XDD
Not me stopping working on a story to join a contest
(Jk that is 10000000000% me. I have the attention span of a microbe.)
Me
I literally stopped my story for that contest and now I wanna work on something else too
Been here 4 years now, I do the exact same thing, still have yet to publish one
Same Or when I finally do settle for one story, I get like a million ideas for different stories while I’m trying to work on it
I have about 40 episode stories in my queue and have been writing on episode for years. I’ve only ever published 4 and finished one, LOL. Hoping to create short stories (5 chapters or less) in the future so I stop running into this problem.
I have three linked story ideas bouncing in my head 24/7, you can almost say I live with them before they are even real
I’m lucky that the ideas my brain generates do not bounce out of those three stories, so regardless I always have only three in my head instead of a million.
I can really relate to this, I’ve basically grown up with this character and the amount of things she’s done… let’s just say she’s wild and crazy. (Lol).
I have so many ideas buzzing around my head but they all slightly change and merge and it’s just so annoying, I’ve been writing in episode for about 6 months now but still haven’t finished a single chapter
EDIT : I have started four stories so far!!!
I feel the same way, I already have two out while one is on hold because the second one has my creativity and headspace right now . But I wanna come out with a third but don’t know what’s it’s going to be about
Same here. I try to focus on a story and put the others mostly on hold, to revamp further. So, what I mainly do, is take notes. Just write the titles of your chapters down, the details of your characters and leave the notes for a while. Just take some deep breaths and continue writing. Mostly I take a break and during that break my ideas pop up again. But never stop writing!! You’re here because you love to write. And you are the author, so you can do what you want with your story, because it’s your story, girl. So, don’t force yourself to write and don’t stop writing. Good luck and stay safe,
Love A-W
I was really active on episode a few years ago and I did the same thing. When I came back last month I had over 100 stories in my portal. My biggest problem was that I was never fully interested in a story. You can’t write something when you don’t really want to if that makes sense.
Yes I can relate. Today I was walking to class and got an idea for TWO great stories while I’m currently working on a big one. And it was like a 10 - 15 minute commute to my college.
Literally me rn!! I was working on one story, then I was like, “Hmm…maybe in my other story THIS could happen.” Soooo ofc I switch over… ̶a̶g̶a̶i̶n̶
As fate would have it, I’m stumped knowing what happens at Point A and Point B but having no idea how to get there! Now, I’m on a different story thinking about the one I just exited out of. It’s an endless cycle, but hey, I’d rather have plenty of ideas than none at all!
But THIS. It’s so tiring not being able to work on one at a time.
