Can anyone clarify for me if a knuckle brass and a cigarette is allowed on a story cover?

Can anyone please let me know if a knuckle brass and a cigarette is allowed to be used in story covers?? If you’ve seen stories that has either on the cover and were approved??

I know the guidelines say:
"Objectionable content may include, among other things, content that:

- Promotes excessive alcohol, tobacco or drug usage;
- Excessive promotion of the use of firearms, explosives, and ammunition; and excessive promotion of a political agenda.

If anyone doesn’t know what a knuckle brass is:

Obviously I’m not “excessively promoting” either one of them but I feel like the cover would still be rejected anyway…

It seems fine cause your not technically violating any of the rules so go for it and if they reject it they reject it.

That’s what I thought too, I just wanted to be sure, I would absolutely hate to pay for a commission to be done and to waste the artists time, just for it to be rejected :frowning:

my guess would be to get in contact with the team n hear from them.

so u would avoid this if it is rejected.

Cigarettes are definitely not allowed. My friend’s cover got rejected for a smoking character. Knuckle brass should be fin I think :+1:t3:
