Hey, I just had a question about story guidelines. Can I write a drama by Shakespeare or someone else in present day English and not in the age old language? Or will that have copyright issues?

I don’t think it’ll be copyright cause’ if you copy the whole entire story then it’s copyright not if it’s a style.

Shakespeare’s work was created before copyright laws so is in the public domain and can be used in this way. There are many other well known works of fiction that are also in the public domain, including Cinderella, Snow White and Alice in Wonderland, just to name a few.
