I want to write a story set in the 1916 Easter rising in Ireland. However, I’m not sure if it would work on a platform like episode. I’m also worried it may offend people.

You can never please everyone!
You will find a fanbase which will love your work, as long as it doesn’t offend the guidelines, you’re good to go!
Then what would? Be free, write about what you like! I for sure would give it a read!

Just do research and you are unlikely to offend people.
It is a platform that is really invested in conventional mafia gang and bad boy stories, but there are readers begging for something different, I really think your story plot could stand out!

Omg yesss please! I’m from Ireland and I would love to see stories about our history on the app. This is such a great idea! And I’ve been wanting to see more war themed stories too.
